Stick Defenders

Stick Defenders mixes stickman combat with merging and base defence. You combine identical gunmen to create stronger units, upgrade your walls, and prepare for increasingly difficult waves. If you enjoy games where your decisions affect how a battle unfolds, you might also like Just Tanks, where choosing how to fight is part of the challenge.

How to Play Stick Defenders

Use your mouse or touchscreen to select a unit, then drag it onto another identical unit to merge them. The two fighters combine into a more powerful soldier, helping you build a stronger line of defence. Keep merging your available units to make room for new ones and improve your firepower.

Your main goal is to protect the base from incoming enemies. Keep an eye on your upgrades and use your special abilities whenever they are ready. If you like action games with quick decisions and constant pressure, Tag 2 is another option worth trying.

Merge Units and Build a Stronger Defence

Merging is one of the most important parts of Stick Defenders. Stronger gunmen can deal with enemies more effectively, so combining matching units at the right time can make a big difference. Try to organise your units instead of merging without a plan, especially when another wave is approaching.

Your walls matter, too. Upgrading them gives your base a better chance of surviving attacks while your fighters take down the approaching enemies. Finding the right balance between stronger units and sturdier defences helps you stay prepared as the challenge gets tougher.

Use Your Special Abilities at the Right Time

Stick Defenders includes extra activities, such as spinning a wheel for helpful rewards. These bonuses can give you new ways to improve your progress, so check what is available rather than focusing only on merging soldiers.

Special skills can also help when the enemy numbers start to overwhelm your defence. Watch their cooldowns and save them for moments when they can make the biggest impact. For a different kind of combat challenge, Blast Fast. Become Mr Gunslinger offers more shooting-focused action.

Keep Improving as the Waves Get Harder

As you progress, the pressure on your base increases. A setup that works early on may not be enough later, which is why upgrading regularly and making smart merges are so important. Don't wait until your defence is nearly overwhelmed before strengthening your fighters or improving your walls.

If you feel like switching away from defending a base, Cherry On The Cake offers a different style of gameplay with a focus on careful movement and completing each level.
